Seungyong Cho (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider") protects the personal information of information subjects in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act and establishes and discloses the personal information processing policy as follows to promptly resolve related complaints.

○ This privacy policy is effective from January 3, 2026.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information) The Service Provider processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures will be taken, such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

  1. Provision of Service Processing personal information for the purpose of providing the "Pique" (Dynamic Island Memo App) service, managing app functionality, and ensuring stability.

Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information) ① The Service Provider processes and retains personal information within the retention and use period in accordance with the law or the period consented to when collecting personal information from the information subject. ② The processing and retention period for each type of personal information is as follows:

  1. Provision of Service Personal information related to service provision is retained and used until the purpose is achieved (e.g., app uninstallation) or destroyed without delay when it is no longer needed.

Article 3 (Items of Personal Information to be Processed) ① The Service Provider processes the following personal information items:

Article 4 (Procedures and Methods of Destruction of Personal Information) ① The Service Provider destroys personal information without delay when the personal information becomes unnecessary, such as when the retention period has expired or the purpose of processing has been achieved. ② Since "Pique" is a local-based application, most data is destroyed immediately upon the deletion of the application from the user's device. ③ The procedures and methods for destroying personal information are as follows:

  1. Destruction Procedure: Personal information that is no longer needed is selected and destroyed.
  2. Destruction Method: Information in the form of electronic files is deleted using technical methods that do not allow the records to be reproduced.

Article 5 (Rights and Obligations of Information Subjects and Legal Representatives) ① Information subjects may exercise their rights to view, correct, delete, or suspend the processing of their personal information at any time. ② Since "Pique" stores data primarily on the user's local device, users can exercise their rights (deletion/correction) directly within the app or by uninstalling the app. ③ For other inquiries, the exercise of rights may be done in writing or via e-mail to the Service Provider, and we will take action without delay.

Article 6 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information) The Service Provider is taking the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information:

  1. Minimization of access: Only necessary personnel have access to data (if applicable).
  2. Technical measures: Utilizing the security features of the iOS platform (Sandboxing) to protect local data.

Article 7 (Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Collection Tools) The Service Provider does not use 'cookies' that store and frequently retrieve the information subject’s usage information on this native application.
